The T.V. star Nickel Samurai, Matt Engarde, is accused of killing the Jammin' Ninja, Juan Corrida, also a T.V. star.  They weren't on the best of terms, but Matt didn't have any reason to kill the guy! I think that someone tried to frame Matt.

There is entirely too much evidence at the scene of the crime. Honestly, who would leave a knife in someone after stabbing him?  I myself would have taken the knife.  The stabbing wasn't even the cause of death. The cause was strangulation via bandanna.

Work is tough.

Actually, I was with Miss Scarlet in the billiard room.  While there was a rope involved, everyone was quite alive when we were done if you catch my oh-so-subtle drift.

I have, but they aren't suspects in the case.  I have the Manager as suspect #1.  She was dating the victim and he had something to do with her mentor's suicide.

Developments:  

The lady who I think killed Juan, was dating him because his past manager committed suicide.

His manager was her mentor, and she left a suicide note that was never found.  (Ink was found on her fingertips at the time)  Juan was the person who discovered her, but was the note was never found.  Police suspected him in hiding the note, but couldn't prove anything.

The whole knife thing is either a poor attempt at a cover up ("oh there's a knife well I guess we don't need to check for other causes of death"), or an act out of anger/passion. So either you're dealing with an idiot, or a jealous lover or betrayed partner sort of thing.

And I'm a little confused by your developments thing. To many pronouns or something.
