So is there anybody on here who knows somebody who's gotten this? Do they still have it now, or have they recovered already?

In Ontario, Canada, there's already near 3000 cases, with 12 people who have died so far. It's just crazy because it doesn't seem to be getting any better, and I just couldn't imagine if I knew somebody who got it. A lot of people are ignorant to the whole thing until it actually happens to them, then it's scary stuff. =/

A girl at my work had it.

Honestly - people are starting to blow it out of proportion. Its pretty much the exact same as the regular flu, which if treated incorrectly can also cause death.

H1N1 is pretty much the same as the regular flu.  People are making it out to be a big deal.  The news stations start scaring people with like body counts, but fail to inform us every winter of how many people die from the regular flu virus.
